Ihsan Invests in Converting Line

Company looks to conquer 100% cotton tissue wipe market.

In 2015 Ihsan Sons in Pakistan celebrated 10 years of cotton spunlace production with the addition of a new tissue converting line for producing 100% cotton dry tissue wipes. The company hopes to expand on its success in the 100% cotton wet wipes market by targeting cotton dry wipes, taking share away from cotton balls and cosmetic pads. Other key markets for this investment include newborn baby wipes, catering to parents who have not yet started using premoistened baby wipes because of sensitive newborn skin.

Ihsan, a supplier of bleached cotton, makes its 100% cotton wipes on a Fleissner line, which was built in 2005.
